Commission is principally composed of the chairs of the various liturgical committees, with the possibility of members-at-large
The parish liturgical commission attends primarily to the “big picture.” It promotes good communication among the chairs of the various committees and assists with the planning and review of the parish’s liturgical celebrations.
St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and Parish Center

Council is “to assist the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education and service activities within the parish. Each member is asked to contribute to these ends.

It is a quarterly newsletter and the work happens over a 4-5 week period before each publication; 3 meetings occur during that time, plus individual work

Committee supports stewardship as a way of life in St. Elizabeth Parish. It monitors the progress of stewardship in the parish, identifies ways in which the mission of the parish can be promoted and made better known, makes suitable recommendations, and sees to the performance of necessary tasks.
Meetings 4-6 times a year; preparation and task-implementation between meetings

Personal commitment to stewardship way of life and suitable experience or skills. Membership is by invitation of pastor; expressions of interest welcome
Committee is charged with examining the state and condition of the worship space in order to help the parish decide whether any repairs, upgrades, or modifications are called for. Committee also oversees communications with the parish and attends to its own ongoing learning.
Meetings 4-6 times per year, plus time for preparation and learning
Pastor and members of the committee
Ability to bring an open mind and constructive attitude to the work of the committee. Willingness to learn more about the Church’s liturgical rituals and norms especially as they speak to the architecture of Catholic worship spaces. Membership is by appointment of the pastor; expressions of interest welcome.
