 Outreach
You may volunteer your help to assist in any of the person-to-person
caring and sharing projects.
Parish Nurse Ministry
The Parish Nurse program of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church,
is a health care ministry promoting wellness of the whole person
- mind, body and spirit. Services offered are provided in a compassionate
and responsive manner to parishioners of all ages.
The ministry focuses
on health counseling, health education, referrals, support group
facilitation, and advocacy for all individuals within our faith-based
community.
Community
Supper
Area residents benefit from parishioners
making monthly contributions of food to our local food pantry. Non-perishable
items may be left in the St. Elizabeth alcove (left, rear side of
the church) at any time. Items are brought to the food pantry on
the last Tuesday of each month.
"Household Goods Recycling"
Volunteers provide a service of "recycling" of household items -
from pots and pans to furniture and appliances. Call 978 635-1763
if you have a need or if you wish to donate items.
Clothing Closet
A clothing closet is located in the main entrance of the church,
on the right. Donations of clean clothes in good repair are always
welcome. Please use strong plastic bags on which sizes and gender
are labeled.
Share Program
St. Elizabeth's takes part in this nationwide neighborhood-based
food distribution program, open to anyone, which offers a once-a-month
opportunity to purchase 30 pounds of food for $13.00 and two hours
of community service.
