Generations Of Faith Registration
Time |
As you can tell by the
banner on the church, it is now GoF registration time. Since this faith
formation initiative intends to embrace everyone and support the Christian life
of all parishioners, we encourage everyone to sign up. To say it another way:
Generations of Faith is very different from CCD or religious education that
many of us grew up with, which were mainly classes to teach religious knowledge
to children. Although GoF participants certainly learn a great deal about
Catholic faith, GoF has a deeper and much more important purpose: to help all
of us to become more faithful and obedient to the Lord’s call as we live
our daily lives. It does that by building on the foundations of community, the
Sunday Eucharist, and the profoundly formative influence of parents on their
children.
Registration for the Sunday evening
session of Generations of Faith is now closed. There are still spaces available
in the Sunday noon, Saturday 6:15, and Wednesday 5:30 sessions.

Vacation Bible School - Week of August
9-13 |
Register
NOW-We still have room for this year’s Vacation Bible School High Seas
Expedition. Our students and volunteers will plunge through rugged waves
and experience the deep, rolling waters of God’s love. Session runs
Aug 9-13th for ages Pre-K (4 by Sept 1) through entering 6th grade. We
need volunteers- Crew leaders, station leaders, decorating, snacks, donations
any help would be greatly appreciated. For more information please

Sample
donations: Plastic cups, plastic spoons, containers of juice- 1 gallon or
larger, containers of water-1 gallon or larger, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce,
large Bags of square pretzels, honey nut Cheerios cereal, mini marshmallows,
Skittles, Nilla wafers, gummy Worms, chocolate graham crackers, watermelon,
cantaloupe, grapes, Goldfish crackers.

Thanks to a
generous donation from a parishioner, we have just subscribed to Constant
Contact, an email distribution service that allows you to select which emails
from St. Elizabeth you will receive. For those of you with kids at RJ
Grey or AB, this is the same service that those schools are using. It is
our goal to have all parish and Generations of Faith large email distributions
to be served through Constant Contact this year. Please help our efforts by
taking a brief moment to do the following:
