St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish is committed to providing a safe, caring environment for all children and youth whom it serves. It meets all child safety and protection requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Archdiocese of Boston. These include requiring Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) reports each year and one-time participation in the "Protecting God's Children" or VIRTUS workshop for all who work with children and youth under the age of 18. We comply with Massachusetts law on mandatory reporting of suspected child neglect and abuse. Beyond legal compliance, our parish exercises due care when deciding who can serve or have any other parish-based relationship with our young people. We provide age-appropriate classes and workshops on personal safety to our young. We call upon everyone to contribute to care and safety for our young, and indeed all persons in our parish, and to respond effectively whenever anyone is in danger or has suffered a violation or injury.
