Welcome to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish

St. Elizabeth of Hungary, part of the Apple Valley Catholic Community, in collaboration with St. Isidore Parish in Stow, is a graced community of good and faithful people who want to be there for others and share their gifts in all times and seasons.

Our faith in Jesus Christ is at the center of who we are and what we do. We live our faith in Jesus Christ strengthened by:
- Celebrating worship, especially Eucharist, in a way that invites full and active participation.
- Forming disciples through life-long, adult-centered faith formation.
- Our commitment to accompanying one another on the journey of faith.

Whether you are new to the community or just visiting, we welcome you!

Mission Statement

Above all, our collaborative is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all that it does, especially through word, worship, service and community. Having experienced the love and joy of the Gospel ourselves, we want to attract others to the Lord and the good life of his Gospel. We strive to meet people where they are and provide companionship and support to all on our journey together.

Emergency Weather Alert!

Dear Parishioners;

After closely watching the weather forecast over the last 24-hours the predictions are that we will get between 8-16 inches of snow, that will eventually turn over to freezing rain and icing and then back to snow. This snow storm is to take place beginning Saturday night (1/19/2019) and carry on through late afternoon on Sunday (1/20/2019).

I have made the decision to cancel all Sunday Masses at St. Isidore and St. Elizabeth for the safety of each of you. I have also made the decision to add an additional Saturday night Mass for this coming weekend only to help cover the Masses cancelled on Sunday.

For this Saturday January 19, 2019 there will be two Masses. They are:

5:00p Mass - St. Isidore (usual Saturday Mass)

6:15p Mass - St. Elizabeth (added for this weekend only)

I am hoping that by adding the 6:15p Mass this will give parishioners an opportunity to attend either the 5:00p or the 6:15p Mass in place of the cancelled Sunday Masses.

The staff and I are going to do our best to communicate this to as many parishioners as possible. We ask for your help as well. Please reach out to your fellow parishioners with this update. The more we get the word out the better informed our community is based on the cancelled Sunday Masses and the additional Saturday night Mass.

Please be safe as we all embrace this winter storm.

God Bless,

Fr. Jeff
